D90Puntos Fuertes: Lightweight, very fast, excellent photos Puntos Débiles: Not full frame, ISO control I owned a d70 for the last 5 years and have been unhappy with it's low light high ISO performance. In comes in the d90. It's a little heavier than the d70 but much lighter than the d300. it takes excellent photos, esp in low light. i can bump the iso to 3200 and have reasonable noise which i can't evne see on a printed 4x6. i would definitely recommend to anyone who is interested in an upgrade...

Right Stepup from entry level NikonsPuntos Fuertes: High ISO image quality. That's worth all the money you paid. Puntos Débiles: No for the price of $1000. 12MP pixel is a little higher because I think 8-10MP is about the right size for a serious user in taking family pictures. The image quality is as high as what you expect from Nikon. This D90 has very clean image at high ISO even at 6400. That is most useful feature for a family use camera. Active D-Lighting is very useful to keep both the highlight and shadow details. The focusing is fast and...

Great Compact DSLRPuntos Fuertes: Fast 9-Point Focus; Great Low Light Performance; Sharp LCD Screen; HD Video; Long Battery Life; Size; Solid Build; Puntos Débiles: Heavy for its 'compact' size'; Backlight on the Control Panel LCD Screen not bright enough; A bit cumbersome to activate "Timer". A camera that packs a big punch but without the bulk of the average sized DSLR. The body is smaller than the prosumer/professional DSLR's, which is perfect for the average enthusiast/hobbyist. I mated it to a 18-250mm lens and took it on a trip recently. That was all I needed to get wide and zoom shots. I had the "Auto Mode" set most of the time and all the shots came out very nice! The few times...

Excellent cameraPuntos Fuertes: * Superior resolution * Fast speed * Video mode Puntos Débiles: None I replaced a Nikon D40 with this camera. While I would put the video recording and live view features of the N90 into "nice to have" category, the new camera's picture quality is excellent! My favorite feature of this camera is ability to shoot RAW+JPG (high-quality) at the same time. The camera's memory cache appears to be large enough to shoot at 3 images/second speed with highest quality...

Nikon D90 (body only)
THE GOOD: First-rate performance; solid, well-constructed body with nice viewfinder; video capture capability; great photo quality. THE BAD: Middling kit lens; poor HDMI output implementation. THE BOTTOM LINE: Like the D80 before it, the Nikon D90 delivers an excellent dSLR for the money. Tope

The image quality is steady as a rock. Excellent color reproduction and superb dynamic range combined with Nikon's 3D Matrix metering ensure an outstanding DSLR. Nikon shows to be able to swiftly integrate innovations coming from the professional DSLR in the amateur market, making this segment also stand out from the crowd. Nikon D90 Review
Nikon rocked the DSLR world when they introduced their D90 SLR early this Fall, the first SLR that can record movies. Its video capabilities won't replace dedicated camcorders, but will provide welcome relief for photographers tired of carrying along a pocket digicam just for taking "video snapshots". Its movie recording is only one of the many exceptional features the Nikon D90 has to offer. It... Tope

DCRP Review: Nikon D90
The last Nikon digital SLR I reviewed was the D60, and to be honest, it didn't do much for me. My impression of the D90 is the total opposite: it blew me away. In terms of photo quality, manual controls, performance, customizability, and yes, its movie mode, the D90 is a home run. There are a few annoyances, such as slow focusing in live view mode and horrible bundled RAW editing software, but... TopeEnlaces Patrocinados

upgrade
Puntos Fuertes: photo quality, auto setting is more accurate than most, love the higher ISO with reduced noise, size
Puntos Débiles: very happy with camera
This is my 5th or 6th nikon digital. I have most recently been using the D80, a camera which I will still carry and found this slight upgrade to be well worth the money. I mated it with a battery pack and have found the battery life to be tremendous. During the month I have owned the camera I have taken close to 1000 pix in snow, beach and low light conditions and like it very well.
