Acuvue Oasys Contacts

Puntos Fuertes: Excellent for eyes that have difficulty with air requirements. Eliminates dry itchy eyes.

Puntos Débiles: Can't exceed two weeks much but that is dependent on each individual.

Great product, packaging and reasonable pricing. Highly recommended. I was told this was a last resort due to my eyes not getting enough oxygen in the Ciba Soft lenses. Luckily, these lenses worked. I don't have dry, itchy, red eyes anymore and you save on the cleaning products by throwing lenses out after a couple weeks.

best contacts ever

Puntos Fuertes: Feel weightless. Great for dry eyes.

Puntos Débiles: More expensive than most other brands

I was having problems with all other brands with discomfort since my eyes are dry. My eye doctor popped one of these in and it was heaven. I'm still in awe of the difference. They are more expensive, but worth every penny. I've worn contacts since I was 13 years old - for 23 years - I've tried them all. These are the best. Also, you can wear them over 10 hours. Wearing contacts over night is...

EXCELLENT CONTACTS

Puntos Fuertes: very comfortable, great for dry eyes

Puntos Débiles: none

I was unable to wear contacts at work until now! My eyes are dry and I use a computer all day. FINALLY, I can wear contacts after trying many types of contacts! I can feel my eyes "breathing" when they are in... my eyes feel moist all the time! Its worth the extra money as I hate wearing glasses.

Wow

Puntos Fuertes: Did I put my contacts in today? Can't feel them.

Puntos Débiles: None yet....

I am new to contacts. I tried another brand for two weeks and couldn't imagine living life with the feeling of something being stuck in my eye all day. I was about to give up when I heard about Acuvue Oasys... Hallelluya! I can't feel them at all, my eyes feel moist, I keep forgetting I have contacts on. Good product, worth every penny.

Caution!

Puntos Fuertes: Comfort

Puntos Débiles: Price, increased infection

I've worn lenses over 30 years. Switched from Acuvue II due to increased dryness. Very comfortable lenses, although double the price. BUT in the 9 months of wearing Oasys, I've had an infection in my right eye twice. Before that, I had one infection ever, more than 10 years ago. I am switching back to Acuvue.

softest fitting soft contacts available

Puntos Fuertes: Contact breathe well on eyes and feel weightless and stick well to eyes

Puntos Débiles: contacts can't be worn longer than 10 hours,

MY eyes are normally very hard to adjust to wear contacts, but i do a lot of activities which are not very eyeglasses friendly, The oasys were the first lenses which were clear on the eyes and also stuck very well. If you wear acuvues or acuvue 2 i recommend switching to these contacts as they are a much needed upgrade

Contact Lenses

Puntos Fuertes: Keeps eyes moist. Very good for dry eyes.

Puntos Débiles: can't leave them in more than 8 hours.

I like these a lot. I just switched back to contacts because my mom bought me some from www.contact.com.... I have very dry eyes so I wasn't sure if I should even wear contacts but these ones have not given me any problems.

Not working for me.

Puntos Fuertes: Very comfortable at first. They felt like I was not wearing contacts at all.

Puntos Débiles: I have only worn these for a couple of months and I have already had two eye infections. I never had infections before recently switching to this brand and I always remove them at night.

I have read tht some people ate experiencing increased eye infections and allergic reactions to this brand of contacts. I think they are probably wonderful for some people - not so great for others like me.

Hard to remove

Puntos Fuertes: Maybe better astigmatism correction

Puntos Débiles: Too thick

I don't like these lenses. I have been wearing contacts for 20 years and have never had such trouble before. Since they are so thick, it's a real struggle to remove them and I have scratched my cornea more than once in so doing.
