All About My Mother [DVD] [2000] [Region 1]I'm sure I would have enjoyed this movie more had I not brought my son who complained through the entire thing how bad it was. Admittedly, it was neither high action, nor racily funny, but its combination of good acting and bizarre situations certainly kept me involved. I told my son it was just another slice of life. I don't think he believed me.

All About My Mother [DVD] [2000] [Region 1]What a delightful movie. Amazing that Almodovar is still able to get mileage from his constant themes of sexual estrangement and confusion, but he does, though this movie is about a lot more than that. It's beautifully shot, too, and the acting is terrific.
