I was choosing between the Hitachi, DeWalt, Milwaukee, and Bosch. first 3 came with hard case, Bosch with a bag. All 4 are 15 amp, 45 deg. bevel, carbide tipped blade. Hitachi was priced $35 below DeWalt and Milwaukee, and about $20 below Bosch. I came down to Milwaukee vs Hitachi. Because of warranty, price, and comfort I chose Hitachi. The left hand position on the Milwaukee was to far forward over the saw. Got a great deal on a killer 15 amp saw. Solid performer - Great Value

This circular saw performs and feels like it's worth a lot more than its price would indicate. I opted for this saw after looking at cheaper manufacturers (Skil, Black & Decker, etc). The quality, power, and balance feels on par with a Makita or Dewalt. If you're looking for something to last many years, but aren't willing to shell out the cash for one of the elite names, this is the saw for you!
The strong motor has yet to flinch at anything I've pushed it through. The grip feels just right, and the cage is designed so the front of the blade is easily visible while cutting. I'd be quite surprised if I end up having to take advantage of the 5-year warranty.
Highly recommended.
