Version 2.0Version 2.0 serves as a springboard, launching them into a more experimental and beautiful playing field. Shirley Manson's voice crosses old boundaries, and the lyrics are cold and icy, yet introspective, haunting, and vulnerable. The band itself gives a laudable effort to do what no other band has ever tried, much less accomplished with astonishing public appeal, and that is to make studio 'garbage' into music. This is perhaps one of the downright best albums I have ever listened to. Each song is so complex yet sounds so polished and effortless. This is understated genius. Version 2.0I don't know how anyone could not like this album, I seriously think anyone who is saying they hate it is lyeing to themselves. This album is a true piece of art. Version 2.0I think most people agree that Vers 2.0 isn't as good as the debut album. Some of the songs seem to follow on from 'Milk' which is the last song on the debut album, such as 'The Trick Is To Keep Breathing'. But there still are some powerful songs on there like 'Dumb'. Version 2.0Let me admit right away that I have a crush on Shirley Manson, so my rating is probably a little biased. Her accent kills me, and I even like the way she cusses like an angry sailor. That being said, “Verson 2.0” is good CD. It’s not great, it’s not even as impressive as Garbage’s self-titled debut album, but it’s good. “Hammering in my head” is probably my favorite song on “2.0,” but aside from that one it’s hard for me to identify individual songs on this CD as being especially good or bad. They’re all pretty good, and they tend to blend together a little bit. If you’ve never been a fan of Garbage, this CD isn’t going to convert you. But if you like their music, then “Verson 2.0” should hold you until Garbage releases something a little more unique and powerful. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope

Yeah, so the lyrics can get kinda trashy and strange, but I still loved this album and still do. As a young singer, this album helped me stretch my vocal chords and I eventually ended up with a 3 octive range. Shirley Manson is a great vocalist and I believe she's one of the most underrated singers of the 90's and today.
