Radiohead : OK ComputerOne of the better titles to come out of that festering cesspool that encapsulated, and defined, late 90's music - T. Yorke and the boys stayed true to the rock verities, which seemed to have eluded them in their ensuing efforts. Their signature style of lofty guitar riffs, innovative rythm section, and the impressive texture and layering of the piano/keyboards were rife througout the LP. I always liked how Radiohead could pull off noticable and subtle dynamic shifts without sending their songs into a downward sonic spiral, this is best exempified by "Paranoid Android", a six minute mini-epic which perfectly demonstrates the alternating time signatures and the afformentioned, dynamacism, that was the hallmark of their first three records. In my view this was the third, and last of the great Radiohead albums, as their ensuing works were just too damn weird, even for me. ** edited ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope

Radiohead : OK ComputerA modern-day masterpiece. If you've only heard a song or two, this is an ALBUM worth listening to. Anymore, artists seem to put out an "album" with one or two singles and a whole lot of fluff. Radiohead : OK ComputerRadiohead established themselves as one of the most inventive and ambitious bands of all time with this album. The shifts in songs like "Let Down" and "Exit Music (For a Film)" are subtle yet incredibly effective. Each song is like a mini-masterpiece on its own, and combined, they make an unprecedently brilliant work of art. If there is one flaw in OK Computer, is that the songs tend to lack continuity. No song really sounds the same, and playing the album straight through will probably leave you feeling disoriented. It's a small price to pay for something this great, however. Radiohead : OK ComputerOne of the most acclaimed records of the late nineties isn't quite all it's cracked up to be. Sure, it's undeniablre this is a brilliant piece of art. But the record suffers from being overly ambitious. Therefore, the listener is forced to see the beauty through the individual songs, instead of the album as a whole. Each track builds up the listeners appetite more and more, but after listening the album in its entirety, the you are left feeling bloated and stuffed. Still, this is by no means a bad album, it's just difficult if you don't understand what it's going for. it's almost like it's something you have have to concentrate very hard on and master it. Radiohead : OK ComputerAwesome album loaded with brilliance. This band have moved on superbly, mixing radio friendly hits with hard edged rock riffs. Radiohead : OK ComputerWhy, oh, why, didn't rateitall separate rock into a separate category from pop? How can you even compare Radiohead to Ricky Martin? They couldn't be more different. Radiohead has so much creative talent and Yorke's vocals are so passionate, I feel like I want to cry during some of the songs on this cd. The music is so complex and the lyrics are intruiging. It's the music I never knew I wanted, but when I heard it, it seemed to be exactly what I needed. Now, if only Radiohead would go back to making albums like The Bends and OK Computer...Kid A seemed a bit off the wall for me. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope

Radiohead : OK ComputerOK Computer is one of those albums that we will hear was "way ahead of its time" in a few years. This album is so layered that I swear every time I listen to it I discover something more to love about it. I have watched Radiohead evolve over the past few albums and saw them play at a small venue a few years ago but I really wish I could have seen them after this album, I bet it was an entirely different experience. Its innovative sound and dark, paranoid lyrics make it one of the best of the 90's.Also check out The Bends, Kid A, and Amesiac and notice Radiohead's drastic changes as artists. They are all instant classics. Just a question; with the abundance of 5 star ratings why does this album only get a 2.97 rating? Radiohead : OK ComputerI don't think that any album at the time could compare to OK Computer.. Something about it just pulls you from this world and sends you to another. I love getting lost in this album and I think most other people will as well. There is no way to classify this album because it is in a category of it's own. Radiohead set a standard that not many could ever follow, if they dare to do so. One band that has stepped in that direction and conquered is OUR LADY PEACE. Radiohead : OK ComputerTruly a work of art, O.K Computer will be talked about for generations beyond Radiohead's existence as a band. I twill become the 'Nevermind' of the new millenium. I didn't think Paranoid Android could get any better, until I saw them peform it live in Manchester last year. That memory will be with me for the rest of my life. To all fans who haven't heard either Lewis Mistreated, or Talk Show Host- both B-Sides- grab a listen as soon as you can. Radiohead : OK ComputerAs with all Radiohead recordings each is a stepping stone in a new dirrection to which we will someday find out the final transformation of this band. OK Computer is but a step toward KID A and that a step toward greatness. I cannot for the life of me put this recording down as it reminds me of the sweetness of the Beatles at their finest moments and others such as Todd Rundgren and even the 80,s band Jellyfish. Clearly Thom Yorke took a vacation on this album to rest up for what was really troubling him that which would become KID A. OK Computer deserved a high rating but there should be one more star available for KID A to push the envelope a little higher. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope

Whenever I'm sad or have had a bad day, I listen to Radiohead and I feel like someone else can feel my pain and empathize with me. Radiohead : OK ComputerThis band is one of my ultimate favorite bands(besides Portishead). They actually sound somewhat like Portishead. I've been listening to Radiohead for seven years and they are still my all time favorite. I have all the Radiohead albums including the imported "Creep" single from Germany. Radiohead : OK ComputerMy favorite album ever. The third major release from Radiohead put them at the forefront of pop/alternative music. The range of their musicianship has grown so much from the previous album. All songs on this album have been my favorite at one time, and I remember "Subterranean Homesick Adieu" the first time. I bought this CD because I heard it was a good one from friends and I have been wanting to expand my horizons of music. So, Amazon delievered. I have had it in the CD player since I got it. It is so good. I have listened to it while working on my computer, making dinner and even reading. It fits every mood. It surprised me when I heard it, that I knew a lot of songs already, I just never knew that they were by Radiohead. Radiohead : OK ComputerI was blown away by this CD. I'd never paid any attention to Radiohead before, but I kept seeing "OK Computer" show up on lists of the best CD of the year. So I finally cracked under the pressure and listened to a few songs at a record store, which was enough to convince me to buy it. The first couple of times I listened to it, I thought it was OK, but by the 5th or 6th time I was completely hooked. And I can't even tell you which songs I like, because they all kind of blend together. The CD works as a whole, which is really rare these days and definitely hurt its commercial sales (no hit single = no hit CD). Even if you're biased against concept CDs like this, you should give "OK Computer" a shot... It's that good. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope

Each song has so many layers to it, you are still discovering new things about each song after the 50th time. Radiohead : OK Computer
Not as good as "The Bends" but still a damn good 90's album. Like much of Radiohead's work it's underrated drug/booze music.
