Led Zeppelin IV [Remaster]The rise of one of the best ever group of all times. Much experimentation, search for new ways of musical expression and a variety that places it among the best of the Zepps. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope

Led Zeppelin IV [Remaster]Jimmy Page is one of the greatest guitarists of all time. It's hard to argue with Rolling Stone magazine. They ranked him at #9 on their list of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time. Zep were the best of their era. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope

Led Zeppelin IV [Remaster]IMO, this is Led Zep's best LP collection of great songs, being the only LP in which all songs on it are their most widely recognized, versus "In Through the Out Door" for example, which offers only a few greats on one LP. Being a huge John "Bonzo" Bonham fan, this LP offers "When the Levee Breaks", the tail end of "Stairway to Heaven", "Black Dog" and "Rock and Roll", which make me happy. Of course, for truly great Bonzo, I have to jump from CD to CD to hear to Kashmir, Good Times, Bad Times" and "Dazed and Confused" to name a few. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope

Led Zeppelin IV [Remaster]One of the best blues/rock albums ever, by a band that re-defined hard rock and roll. Each individual musician would not play ever again as they played on this disc; succeeding albums would sound rushed and somewhat lackluster. This is a classic first effort, from a classic band. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope

Led Zeppelin IV [Remaster]This was Led Zeppelins' best album. Although it does not match the sheer power and musical breakthroughs of their first album- its offers much. 'Black Dog' rocks, and 'Rock and Roll' thumps along. 'Going to California' offers a nice acoustic Zep- while 'Stairway to Heaven' is just great. Side two is even better-'Misty Mountain Hop' and 'Four Sticks' are excellent, while 'When the Levee Breaks' brings a stunning close to the Album. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope

Led Zeppelin IV [Remaster]This album is scary good. If you grew up on techno computer aided wizardry, rap, speed metal, etc. then this will sound like a dated rough rock album. This is hard nosed power trio blues that is amazingly deep and soulful. "Stairway to Heaven" was played to overkill in the 70's and 80's but listening to it again now you understand why is was so popular. Every song is good on this album and the flow moves from hard rocking to very soft and melodic on songs like "Going to California" and "The Battle of Evermore". It ends with pure delta blues "When the Levee Breaks" (who would have imagined the relationship to New Orleans 34 years later). Page is a master with the guitar and he is underappreciated for his work in the studio. This was recorded with live playing and moving microphones to various locations for effects. No computer enhancement here they had barely been invented at the time. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope

Led Zeppelin IV [Remaster]A band gets together for less than a month and puts out an album as powerful and groundbreaking as this?!! Other than Jimi Hendrix's debut Are You Experienced, this rates as the most powerful opening salvo in the history of Rock and Roll. Not a bad track on this record and Jimmy Page cements his his place as the most awesome and versatile guitar player of all time. By far a better band than any of the shallow posers that have continued to follow in their wake. Zeppelin still rules! ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope

Led Zeppelin IV [Remaster]Can folk, folklore, R&R and "magick" transport you to the land of hobbits and heavy metal? Hell yeah. Feel the superhero vibe of a confident band that captured rhythm, hook, emotion, technical brilliance and big-room production, conjuring up the mystical best of their best. Full of bombast and inhabiting a world of its own, it's almost a clinic on how to lay down a groove to a hard-rock riff. "Stairway to Heaven" is played to death but you can't overlook its impact. Take a nap "acemanly". You seem just a slight bit cranky to me. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope

Led Zeppelin IV [Remaster]Led Zeppelin IV mixes rock and roll the blues and folk rock, it is truly an epic record. The album features the infamous stairway to heaven which slowly builds from a quiet ballad to a full out hard rocking front of guitar riffs and loud solos.Other excellent songs on this album are "Black Dog","Rock and Roll","The Battle of Evermore" and the bluesy "When the Levee Breaks".Led Zeppelin IV is definately considered to be a classic rock and roll album. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Led Zeppelin IV [Remaster]When i first listened to Led Zep i never really thought anything of it but as i got older i started noticing how good it was. I was too caught up in new age type of music to actually see the good quality of his singing and music. His musics so basic that it's actually really good, no other band can match it's style, music, and sound. They difinately brought cruddy old rock into a new era i dont know what would've become of rock if they hadn't stepped up to bat and kicked ass. I know they probly dont have their music down as good as some newer rock groups but back then they are at the pennicle of their heights and new music that people rate better then led zep probly would've never existed without led zep's influence of overly empowering rock music. Every tune they come up with seems to be from some other world, and it brings everyone into it very well. Songs like "Stairway to Heaven", and "Dazed and Confused" make sure of that. They deserve a 5 star. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope

Led Zeppelin IV [Remaster]While an excellent debut effort (released in 1969), the sound on this Led Zeppelin release is too uniform to merit more than three stars when compared to other releases in the rock and roll era and to the band's own subsequent efforts. Nevertheless, Zeppelin's debut is worth a listen and contains some of the group's signature songs, including "Good Times Bad Times," "Dazed And Confused," and "Communication Breakdown." From the start, Led Zeppelin evidence their roots and influences of blues, psychedelic and folk. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope

Rootsy, rocky, bluesy, metal - who cares what you want to call it.Its none of these but all of them at the same time. Led Zeppelin IV [Remaster]Best Led Zepplin album. Led Zeppelin IV [Remaster]How can you not give this album 5 stars?!? This album served as a template to other masterpieces such as other 5 star albums like "Appettite For Destruction", "License To Ill". Heck, even Garth Brooks loved this album and he's got good tunes as well. Bonzo was very creative when he stuck microhpones at different heightened intervals to get that echo with his drums on 'Levee Breaks'. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope

Led Zeppelin IV [Remaster]A girly singing with Robbie " i got more hair curls than you" on this record sink zep. Listen to drudge of drumming on "Black Dog", just ruins it! Way over rated by fans, Stairway To Hell more like it, get over them! John Paul Jones is the best musician of this group. The untitled album is dull, cover to cover. The gate fold leaves a lot to imagine. LZ III best album cover! First album won a Grammy Award and is the classic album. Still favorite album is LZ II, the first record of this band and bought this in 8th grade in 1970 before it KOOL to like LZ!!! Led Zeppelin IV [Remaster]wow. is this album underrated. this one is so mysterious and technically experimental, i would think more people would appreciate it. Most of the songs aren't originally theirs, but the sounds and improv styles sure are. Jimmy lays his sound down thick and Robert's vocals get under your skin and shiver through your veins. JPJ's basslines are so complex and Bonzo is amazing. Songs like You Shook Me, I Can't Quit You Babe and Dazed and Confused really show how perfectly the four of them worked together. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope
