Shrek 2I thought this was a pretty good sequel to Shrek. Now married, Shrek and Fiona go out to Far Far Away to meet her parents. There's are funny moments as usual. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope

Shrek 2i couldnt wait to see this movie. i took my granddaughter to see it and it was great. the audience never stopped laughing. everyone seemed to really enjoy it. even though donkey was just as funny this time it was puss in boots that stood out. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope

Shrek 2I really thought all the originality and humor from the original was gone. The story was basicly averege because it just had alot of the old shrek in it but with a Meet The Parents storyline which is very prdictable. The villians and the comical sidekicks are very dull since they have nothing funny to say. The only things funny things they say are coming from the voice actors instead of the script. Even the movie/pop refrences seemed out of place! SEE the original instead! ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope

Shrek 2Shrek and Fiona are back in this hysterical sequel to the amazing first film. Here's the plot: Shrek (voiced by the absolutley wonderful by Mike Myers) and Fiona (Cameron Diaz) get back from their "fantasy" honeymoon to find that they are invited to meet Fiona's mom and dad, who turn out to be the King and Queen of a hoity-toity kingdom, appropriately named Far Far Away. I'll let you figure out the rest. With genius voices from Myers, Diaz, Eddie Murphy (the irresistible Donkey) and Antonio Banderas (as a gut-busting-funny assasin kitty-cat) and a chuckle every five seconds, this is a summer movie that you MUST see. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Shrek 2For me personally I didn't think this movie's story was as good as the original. It was full of many creative ideas, but the original "Shrek" being one of the most successful animations of all time as well as being the first Oscar winning animation in this particular category, I knew that this alone would be enough pressure for the creators to try and repeat this success as well as keeping the same adult humour. The humour in "Shrek 2" was excellent with some brilliant scene references to movies such as "Mission Impossible", "Ghostbusters", "Lord of the Rings" and "Spiderman". I even thought that the personal jibe to Disney with Princess Fiona throwing Ariel from "The Little Mermaid" into the sea of sharks was hilarious. They eased up a little on the old characters giving audiences time to warm-up to the new ones such as Puss, the Fairy god-mother, Prince Charming, the King and Queen, but even the idea of fresh characters couldn't defend a story that was far too weak. Princess Fiona and the Queen could have been served with a lot more witty one-liners and involved a lot more creatively than playing two-dimesional characters who were so serious. Sometimes I felt a little stifled at the modern day parodies (Versarchery, Sir Justin, Far Far away) that were littered in this film. Once trying to revive a story that could have survived solely on its own, the chances of that formula being used again can only become stale, almost like someone repeating themselves. Dreamworks is a very good company and my only hope is that they won't continue to make a "Shrek 3 and 4", but they will create another story with original ideas, a fresh script, flowing with strong animated characters that once caught audiences imagination like they did with the original "Shrek". ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Shrek 2I loved this cute, funny, adventurous movie. The first one as well is one of my favorite family films. I think my favorite character this time around was Puss-N-Boots! What a riot he was. One of the best scenes was when he made that cute helpless face where his eyes got all big and he put his ears back. LOL THe whole audience said "AWWWWWWW..." when he did that. Antonio Banderas was really good as his voice. The Fairy Godmother was intriguing too. I was really amazed at how realistic their facial expressions were, especially hers. And that arrogant Prince Charming was alright. Donkey was his usual self. This was cute... ;-) ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope

Shrek 2Cute movie. Picks up where the first one stops. Fiona and Shrek are invited to Fiona's parents castle. they are a king and queen of the land far far away. when they get there the parents are dismayed to see Shrek is an ogre and so is fiona. the king wants to put a stop to the marriage and gets the fairy god mother to help out.{she is evil and her son is prince charming} Puss in Boots ends up being friends with Shrek {he is one of the best characters in this movie. Antonio Banderes is great for the voice} there are some funny scenes and a good ending. do not leave the theater when the credit start rolling or you will miss a surprise half way through the credits. good movie not quite as good as the first. well done though. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Shrek 2Easily superior to the original, Shrek 2 is a comic tour-de-force. There are a plethora of theatrical and televisionic references from Godzilla to The Price is Right and even Lord of the Rings. There's also some other forms of delightfully silly and chipper humor. The animation is even better, with the trees looking darn near realistic. The voice acting is solid across the board, but Antonio Banderas's Puss-in-Boots truly steals the show. Also, Jennifer Saunders as the Fairy Godmother is hilarious. Even the musical sequences are enjoyably fast-paced and upbeat and backed up with great gags and more. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope

Shrek 2An extra star because my kids liked it well enough. The high praise this movie has received is undeserved. It has little wit or humor. Much of the humor is explicit in ways that are unecessary. Shrek himself, once again, is nothing more than a depressing whiner who rarely is the reason for humor. Donkey is less humorous and much more plain annoying. The charm and popularity this movie and its predecessor seem to share can only be explained by the growing dumbing down in the modern world. This movie is a carbon copy of the previous one and it seems absurd to say it is "much" better. It is the SAME thing in almost every way imaginable. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope

Shrek 2Cute. The story takes up where the first movie leaves off--after the wedding of Shrek and Fiona, newlywed ogres. And, of course, it's time to meet the in-laws. Starring the familiar cast of the original "Shrek", there are a few newcomers that are welcome (Antonio Banderas as "Puss in Boots" was pretty entertaining). Shrek 2Shrek 2 is a great movie. It's one of those rare gems that kids and adults will get a kick out of. Like the first one, it pokes satire at everything with rapier-like wit. The computer animation has also imporved since the first. Sometimes, I thought they were cutting into real world footage for some of the shots. Disney really hasn't made anything in years that matches the humor and cleverness of the Shreks. Shrek is even strong enough to withstand the Eddie Murphy curse. The only knock I have on Shrek 2 is that it is not quite the equal of the first one. But other than Godfather 2, what movie sequel is?
