Sweet Home Alabama [DVD] [Widescreen] [2003]...As with most Reese Witherspoon flicks, the key word is cute. This movie was a pleasant surprise. The actors were all talented that charmed you. The typical, sweet story of country girl goes to the big city, lost love and having to choose between the two worlds. Predictable but the joy of it is that you want it to happen predictably...with the happy ending. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope

Sweet Home Alabama [DVD] [Widescreen] [2003]...I was in a fairly shakey frame of mind when we put this in the VCR, and I wasn't sure I'd get into it very much, what with it being a comedy and me not feeling very much like laughing. However, I must say that I enjoyed it quite a bit. The lead characters had winning personalities and the dialogue was quite funny at times. Of course, it slides into predictability at times, but there aren't many movies lately that don't. It's well worth watching and I'm considering buying the DVD. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope

Sweet Home Alabama [DVD] [Widescreen] [2003]...I thought that this movie, like quite a few people have said, is cute and charming. Nothing more nothing less. It's certainly not groundbreaking stuff, it's just a sweet romantic comedy boosted by, in my opinion, one of the best actresses of her generation. I am certain, that without Reese Witherspoon this movie would not have done so well and I'm pretty certain a lesser actrees would have made this movie unbearable. So, having said that, the 4 star rating is mostly due to Reese. I can't lie, I'm absolutely fascinated by this actress, she is just a phenomenal talent. She can turn a cliched romantic comedy into box office gold. With Reese being in practically every scene it's hard to take your eye away from the screen. She's got amazing screen presence. I also thought she has great chemistry with Josh Lucas, who played her redneck husband. They played off each other rather well. I haven't talked much about the other actors, but really this movie is all about Reese and that basically is the best thing about this movie and the best reason to watch this been-there-done-that romantic comedy. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Sweet Home Alabama [DVD] [Widescreen] [2003]...Considering great performances by Witherspoon and Bergan, the film is possibly one of the worst romantic comedies of all time. McConahay (I can't spell his name..lol) is the perfect contender for the next white trash, smelly role on the big screen. I hated this film, and I hope you will too. Sweet Home Alabama [DVD] [Widescreen] [2003]...This was a cute movie it is about this girl who lives in New York and she gets engaged to the Mayors son but the only problem is she has to go home and have her husband sign the divorce papers. When she gets there he does not want to sign them so she has to find a way to make him hate her so she can have him sign the papers so she starts picking at all her old friends and doing what she can to upset him well when she finally gets them signed she is having second thoughts. Reese Witherspoon did a good job, this was a good movie. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope
