Fun to watch for it's time, but now I think I'd find it dumb.

Austin Powers in Goldmember Full Frame; Infinifilm...

Okay, I would have to say that this was the most disapointing of the three Austin Powers movies. There are many things that are disapointing in it, and I will get to them. I gave Goldmember a 3 out of 5 because there were a lot of things that were disapointing in it, but there were also some things that were better in this movie and not in the previous two Austin Powers movies.

I think the most disapointing thing in the movie was that Dr Evil turned good! Dr Evil was one of the main funny things in the Austin Powers movies and one of the main reasons I watched them. Some other things were that I just didnt get the feel that it was an Austin Powers movie like the previous two did, there was just somthing about it that just wasn't the same. Now for the humor of the movie, it was pretty funny, but I think there were parts that they tried a little too hard to be grossly funny, and it those parts just turned out to be too offensive.

Mike Meyers is very funny, and is one of my favorite actors, but I don't think he did as good of an acting job as the previous two AP movies. Beyonce is actually a pretty good actor, but I don't think she exactly fit in for a roll in an Austin Powers movie. Also, there was no romance between Austin and Beyonce, which really defeated the main purpose of the Austin Powers films. I think the best part in the entire film were the takes of Dr. Evil, Number 2, and all of the guys when they were young. The young Dr Evil actor I think did a very good job, and was very funny. One more thing, I think this was the movie that Fat Bastard was most funny in, Fat Bastard was one of the highlights of this movie.

I actually saw this movie earlier this year (2005) on TV, and I figured out why it was already 2005 and there wasn't another Austin Powers movie out yet. The first Austin Powers (International Man Of Mystery) movie was done very well, I would give it 5 stars, the second (Spy who shagged me), I would give 4, and this one (Goldmember), 3. I will still buy this on DVD to complete my Austin Powers movie collection, but I must say, this one is my least favorite.

Very funny movie. Mike Myers is amazing in those movies, playing several different characters.

One of the most hilarious of this trilogy. It is also touching to finally see DR. Evil's past link to the shagger. Certainly one of the near best comedy movies I've ever seen.

Manages to make the first two, (which are so bad they make my teeth hurt) look like great art.

This movie was terrible! I loved the first two Austin Powers, but this was just junk! This movie was disgusting, and boring. The guy that ate his skin wasn't funny, and there was no romance between Austin and Foxy Cleopatra. These movies are based on James Bond, and yet there was no sexy, romantic kind of scenes, which kind of kills the point of it. The only reason I don't rate it terrible is that I saw twice and the first time I liked it, but I can't remember why. There must have been something funny there though.

Goldmember won't win any Oscars but is nevertheless a funny if somewhat crude movie. Two of the characters in the movie for example, a set of twins, are named "Fook Mi" and "Fook Yu". If you find this kind of humor funny and appealing then by all means go ahead and rent Goldmember, otherwise skip it.

Austin Powers in Goldmember Full Frame; Infinifilm...

My goodness this movie blew. It got my attention with that awesome beginning. But once the movie started? I won't even go there... Byonce Knoles is to "Jive" to be funny. In fact, It's friggin annoying. The next time I hear someone say "Jive Turkey" or "Shuga" like that again I'm gonna Explode! Not only that, but Goldmember sucks. He is gross, stupid, and also very annoying. The movie only squeezed a couple of giggles out of me. Most of this movie's humor is when one of the antagonists trying to explain something stupid or gross while the other person just sits there staring with a confused look on their face until he is done. Honestly I feel they do this too much in this movie, like when Fat Bastard is trying to explain how bad his fart stinks, or when Goldmember says his stupid "Fashza" stuff. The only funny parts to me were the beginning, the mole, the subtitles, (ha ha!) and the shadow scene. Other than that, this movie just plain shameless advertising. The Brittney and Ozbourne Cameos were obviously put in there to appeal to their respective audiences. and let us not forget the biggest "Audience appeal" role of them all: Byonce Knowels herself. The only good Austin Powers chick was Vanessa she is irreplacealble. I think I've seen the bottom of the Austin Powers barrel with this stinker of a comedy movie.

A few minor chuckles can't make up for an unfunny mess like this. Beyonce actually was the strongest link, with Mike Myers totally bored of the role.

I will admit it was better that the last one but not by much. A thin plot with similar jokes and a bad script. Mr Myers move on you are better than this do the Dieter movies. Mike does great voices but his Goldmember is terrible. I am sure the next one will be a prequal as they are the rage right now.

I loved this movie, it was the best of the 3, i though. It was so funny, I watched it with my whole family, and we all laughed, but my 9 year old brother didn't get some of it.

this had a few humerous moments. Not as good as the first or second. Austin has to go to the 1970s to find his kidnapped father. Too many gross out scenes for my taste.

Just see the first one. The other two are like a bunch of Saturday Night Live sketches lumped together and dragged out as much as humanly possible. The biggest laugh was when Ozzy Osborne was shown, just for how dated the movie will be in a few years. The first one was funny and original, they should have just left it alone after that.

I really enjoyed this film - I even saw it twice at the cinema. Yes, you could regard it as lame and just the same as the other two - but I found it hilarious. Michael Caine was fantastic and I liked the scenes where Austin Powers and Doctor Evil were at school with Basil. People relax! Its just a silly movie for people to have a giggle.

Austin Powers in Goldmember Full Frame; Infinifilm...

Just as I had feared, this movie was a flop. Before I even heard the details about this movie, I had a feeling that a 3rd A.P. movie would tarnish the reputation (of being hilarious) of the first 2 movies, and that A.P. never needed another sequel. I should go with my hunches more often. The only time I laughed was from a few snipits from the submarine scene and most of the fountain sequence. The rest was a snore. I just sat there and watched the screen hoping the tide would somehow turn. Notice how Jack Osbourne said ( IN THE FREAKING MOVIE EVEN ) that the movie was just repeating old jokes. Although that was suppose to be a joke in itself, there is truthful merit to that statement (it's more like an understatement). Mike Myers must now think he can put anything out and it'll be good. WAKE UP CALL!! Very disappointing to know that. I do admit, I was, at first, impressed by the many big cameos in the film, but by the time Britney Spears and Ozzy came on, enough was enough. In conclusion, AP3 is a letdown. No matter how much money it makes in the box office, it may end up being know as the start of Mike's downward spiral.

You wanna know how bad this movie is? My 11 year old brother has watched the first two Austin Powers, every Adam Sandler movie, and every episode of the Simpsons atleast 50 times (I'm not exagerating). And even he thought this movie sucked donkey balls. I figured they wouldn't use any new jokes. Forget this movie. Myers should of just done one of them and be done with it.

Austin Powers in Goldmember Full Frame; Infinifilm...

I can see why "Goldmember" was panned by the critics. It's a really, really bad movie. My expectations weren't high to begin with, but it didn't even come close to making my trip to the theater worth it. My biggest complaint was that it contained very little new material. Even worse, the old material was stale and even pathetic in places. The "plot" revolving around Goldmember was uninteresting, and Goldmember was a disgusting old guy who ate patches of dead skin that peeled off his body. (I'm not kidding!) Mike Meyers' acting seemed forced and choppy, and there was no chemistry between him and Foxxy Cleopatra, his female "helper." "Goldmember" lacked the fun, silly feel of the second Austin Powers movie, and the pace was slow. I don't recommend seeing this movie in the theater or on video.
