Very good blood pressure monitorPuntos Fuertes: Big LCD display. Easy to use. Puntos Débiles: The battery run out fast. The AC charger only for 120V, not for international user. This is a good blood pressure monitor. I have it for 1 week and like it very much. It is extremely easy to use, since there are only 2 buttons on the front panel. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is because I don't know if it is one of the very best since its the only one I've ever used. a good productPuntos Fuertes: very easy to use, and the manual is very clear. I like the diagram on the cuff, very self-explanatory. Puntos Débiles: I bought this for my dad. Somehow he told me that the reading from the omron was slightly higher than what he got from the doctor, although I have seen other reviews saying omron is pretty accurate. overall a very good product. I was a little bit surprised when my dad told me that it gave a slightly higher reading than the doctor. Sep 30, 2008 I bought this unit and returned it after a few weeks. The first reading taken with it was 30 to 50 points higher than the 2nd--and sometimes it was seemingly normal. The huge fluctuation was problematic and became an anxiety issue. I am and RN and experienced with BP screening.

Omron Blood Pressure Monitor HEM-711ACPuntos Fuertes: Extremely easy to set up and use. Very accruate readings of the BP, compared with ones used in doctore's office. The readings from Omron were quite consistent with those from doctor's visit. Puntos Débiles: None so far Very easy to use and accurate monitor. It is very affordable as well. It has a very large read-out! It has all the functions that I need. It works well, more imporatantly accurately. May 15, 2006 my mum has got an Omron automatic blood pressure monitor recently. she emailed me the model no. - sem-1(hem-7051-c12), which i think belongs to the HEM712C (let me know if i have made a mistake here). she tested her blood pressure in the clinic and it was 150/100 whereas when she test at home it was 120/70. The question is, can the difference be that much? She is not on medication yet. Thanks.

After doing research online, I chose this one. Because it was the most highly rated in a Consumer Reports review of a couple of years ago. It is easy to use. And the combination heart rate monitor and memory feature are nice extras and very useful. Totally, I am very pleased with the product. BP monitorPuntos Fuertes: Lots of features-keeps BP history including date and time. Puntos Débiles: cuff inflates tightly Good value for the money. My cuff inflates almost too tightly but that may be a function of trying to find my difficult to detect pulse. Omron Automatic Blood presure Monitor HEM-711ACPuntos Fuertes: Price is right Puntos Débiles: Very tricky to find the "sweet spot" to get it to work. Consistently read my BP varying from 180-199 over 98 to maybe 110. If this monitor is reading my BP correctly, I am writing this review dead! The instructions are clear and straight forward..........it just doesn't give accurate readings. I've been to my doctor 3 times this week and the nurses readings were much more in line with medical guidelines. This Omron is very high. Not just high but consistently high. Very nice monitor
Puntos Fuertes: seems accurate, works quickly, very simple operation
Puntos Débiles: no major weaknesses, it's a little pricey but worth it
Product works exactly as described without trouble.
It is quite easy to operate as instructions are clear and concise. Compared to results from a recent doctor visit, my blood pressure was pretty much the same.
The item is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for as it actually works. I had a cheaper monitor from a different manufacturer a couple years ago and it wasn't as accurate as this one is.

My recent experience very much different to this opinion. I got 136 over 76 in my home, when i went to the hospital it was 180 over 100. Will it show this much difference. Pls comment on this.
