Quite and reliable

Puntos Fuertes: Large size and value for the money. Very quiet and fast.

Puntos Débiles: None

I have encountered NO problems with this hard drive. It is quiet which I noticed compared to WD's IDE hard drives. With a 5-year warranty, you can't go wrong.

400G RAID SATA

Puntos Fuertes: 400 Gigabyte, quiet operation, 65Mb sustained transfer, 5yr warranty.

Puntos Débiles: It was not SATA II (300 Gigabit)

I have enjoyed using my RAID 400 drive. Although I do not have this drive on a raid setup, I still love the drive. I purchased this drive in Sept of 2005 and I have had no problems with it.

WD 400Gigga

Puntos Fuertes: Capacity & Low Cost

Puntos Débiles: None

Excellent drive bar none. Not sure about the prior users review since 400GB SATA drives haven't been around for 5years. Still worth the ca$h though all day long.

Good HD

Puntos Fuertes: It's a quiet and reliable hard drive

Puntos Débiles: None

I have this hard drive for almost 5 years. I used it mainly for data storage and never encountered any problem. It is a quiet drive and reliable. It's a little bit more expensive than other brand of similar size but it worth it.

how could you possibly have this hard drive for almost 5 years?

are you talking about some other hard drive that you think is somehow comperable to this one? Because you understand this has more relation to the Raptor than any of WDs other caviars.

You had a Western Digital SATA 400GB HD with NCQ five years ago? What have you got now?!

It's not that big of deal that he's had this drive for 5 years. I've had it for over 25 years now, I'm from the future though. Right now I'm on a 500 Terabyte drive 3-D hologram drive, it's pretty sweet. Especially hooking 5 up for raid-5, 2000 terabytes.
