Willow [DVD] [Special Edition; Sensormatic]Willow is a dwarf farmer/apprentice magician who meets Madmartigan, a great swordsman. Together they journey through a land of monsters and magic, to save a baby princess from death at the hands of an evil queen. A good film pre LOTR - well worth a watch. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Willow [DVD] [Special Edition; Sensormatic]Definitely not one of Lucas' better movies and much of the scenery look recycled from previous movies, especially the dragon but the acting cast was decent and it left you interested enough not to walk out during it, but it's best seen only once. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Willow [DVD] [Special Edition; Sensormatic]It has been a long time since I saw this movie so I may need to refresh my memory and redo my comments another time. I remember this movie fondly and enjoyed it. That is the reason for the rating of 3. I do not recall the acting to be all that impressive and would think some of it was not good at all. I do remember Billy Barty was terrific as the master wizard but his scenes were few. The story was slow at times and the plot probably needed some work but overall I do remember enjoying this movie. I always like to see family sci-fi movies. I personally prefer and enjoy the more mature sci-fi films but being a family man I want my children to explore the capabilities of their imagination and this is the kind of movie that helps do that. Not a great effort but worth seeing at least once. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope
