Steel Magnoliasthis movie was just filled with talent. julia roberts as shelby was lovable. sally fields as maylynn shelbys mother was a great performance. darryl hannahs character was irritating. shirley maclaine and olympia dukakis were hilarious especially when they did scenes with each other. those 2 were my favorite. its funny its sad its happy all in one ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Steel MagnoliasI loved this movie. The cast of characters is wonderful. It's by far the best film Julia Roberts, Sally Field, Dolly Parton or Darryl Hannah have ever been in-either then or since. I guess it would be considered a chick flick but bring some hankys girls it's a tear jerker. The interaction between the women is fantanstic-each has her own personality, and we see how each one changes and grows, some more than others. Darryl Hannah's character probably the most in my opinion but all the women and Sally Field's husband are marvelous. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope

Steel MagnoliasA great movie! I thought the whole cast was great. It is listed as a drama, but it had a number of hillarious scenes in the movie. I espcially loved the scene with Shelby's wedding and the red velvet cake shaped like an amarillo.AND IT IS NOT JUST A MOVIE FOR CHICKS! This movie will make you laugh and cry, just a really good movie. ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope

Steel MagnoliasAll of the women in this movie did such a wonderful job, with the exception of Julia Roberts. I just didn't think she was very convincing. I know alot of people think I pick on her, but she really can't act, and the only time she did moderately do some acting, was in Erin Brockavich. AND...the scene in this movie where Julia Roberts gets a short haircut, this will show you just how truly homely the poor thing really is. She is not pretty by any means. Why she was ever cast in PRETTY WOMAN, is beyond me...ugh! But Shirley McLaine, Dolly Parton, Olympia Dukakis, Daryl Hannah and Sally Fields probably did the best performances of their careers ! A very touching movie. The only thing that annoyed me was the fake southern accents...and for that it lost one star..... ¿Te ha parecido útil o inútil? Tope
